A young couple decide to celebrate their first wedding anniversary with a camping trip to Mount Hood. During the trip, the husband is shot and killed, and his wife tells two different versions of the events which led to his death. Forensic psychiatry finally enables her to distinguish fact from fiction, and the evidence from ballistics tests allow investigators to determine what really happened.
