The Edge

It's August 1945. Former tank crew member Ignat, who is very passionate about locomotives, gets back from the war to the faraway village called the Edge (Kraj). He learns that a German made locomotive have been abandoned on a solitary island since before the war. Ignat starts to work on rebuilding the machine, but it appears that the locomotive has a name - Gustav - and an owner: the daughter of a German engineer named Elsa. Her father have been arrested before the war. Ignat himself, a free man, led by a dream is very alien for other villagers. True Shakespearean passions await...
