Maddie is finding out about the life cycle of plants! She visits a gigantic tomato growing farm and uses her special time-lapse camera to discover how a plant germinates from a seed and grows into a shoot. Next, she travels in a lift to the top of the high greenhouse to see the flowers and tomato fruits growing. We learn how the plant needs water, sunlight and carbon dioxide to make its own energy to grow.
