Gibbs is called to the scene when there is an attempt on the life of FBI agent TC Fornell, with the assailant identified as Navy seaman Tyler Brown. The pair team up and visit the bar where Brown worked and bump into their mutual ex-wife Diane Sterling, who was operating undercover as an employee suspected of stealing customers' identities.
