Winner of the Cinematography Award at Sundance, Lasting is a sensual film about young love, and how a single moment can have grave repercussions for a couple's future - both together and as individuals. Michał and Karina are a pair of Polish students who meet and fall in love while working summer jobs in Spain. Using beautiful imagery, director Jacek Borcuch (All That I Love) captures the energy and exhilaration of young love and desire, and the feeling of great expectation at the beginning of a great romance. But both Michał and Karina return to Poland bearing secrets, one dark and one full of great promise. How they negotiate these secrets will dictate whether they can last together or not.
