In the first years of his daughter Anna's life, Mark proved himself to be a true picture book father and househusband. Now, after starting school, he is initially daring to return to work for half a day, but at the same time he will continue to look after the offspring, because his wife Judith is just getting off to a flying start as a doctor in the hospital. Unfortunately, Mark finds himself at the wrong end of the company's food chain with his old employer and under the authority of the boss, Mrs. Winter, who takes a lot of getting used to, who does not really show understanding for Mark's life situation and the associated working hours. It doesn't take long and he feels the same way as many working women: The double burden worries him, the necessary recognition is missing. When he doesn't take care of the children entrusted to him on a school trip because he also has to take care of his job at the same time, Tom, one of his friend Timo's two sons, suddenly disappears. The boy is found again, but the matter affected both him and the class teacher Ms. Reiberg very much. The tension discharges in a kiss that makes Mark feel guilty. His wife Judith, however, also gives him cause for jealousy.
