Prosecutor CHARLOTTE REINKE investigates a case of abuse: 9 year-old LAURA GIESECKE claims to have been sexually abused by her father ROMAN GIESECKE. But Laura revokes her statement during the main trial and the fathers' attorney proves that Laura's first statement was made under the strong influence of the mother, BRIGITTE GIESECKE. Caught completely by surprise, Charlotte can only just manage to prevent an immediate acquittal of Giesecke. Could the charming and eloquent Roman Giesecke really have abused his daughter? Or is Brigitte trying to exploit Laura in her divorce battle, about which Brigitte obviously wasn't completely honest with Charlotte.
