PEELED is COOKING UP COMPASSION for human kind's first ALL-VEGAN culinary competition-formatted reality TV show. Judged by a panel of vegan aficionados and celebrity chefs, four talented vegan chefs bring their A-game to the kitchen as they whip up impressive dishes they hope will advance them to the next level of competition. Known for their dynamic presence and expertise in the vegan space, two celebrity hosts guide the live action, driving episode narratives by keeping the contestants-and viewers-engaged, informed and thoroughly entertained. In each episode, chef contestants are challenged to integrate and transform novel, plant-powered ingredients in one course of a three-course meal. At any time during the competition, occasional twists in a contest keep rival chefs on their toes despite frayed nerves that are bound to stir up some drama. Letting off steam in candid confessionals helps to cut the tension and unveil the passion behind their knives. The stakes couldn't be higher for these rising chefs. They must "wow" the judges to avoid the humiliation of being "peeled to the compost." The winner of Peeled's first three-part culinary competition will not only be crowned "Hottest Vegan Chef," his or her winning dessert will be featured in the menu of an international vegan restaurant chain, Copper Branch and a $1,000 monetary prize in the winner's name will be donated to the charity of his or her choice.
