Richard Ayoade is joined by comedian Rhod Gilbert for a legendary 48 hours in Miami. In a densely packed minibreak the pair enjoy a dizzying cocktail of art alligators and yoga. They gorge on stone crabs in one of the city’s top restaurants and take on the locals at dominos in Little Havana. The pair base themselves amid the decorous art deco architecture of Miami Beach, flopping at the Raleigh Hotel, whose pool was deemed the most beautiful in the world in 1947. From here they head out to tour the city by speedboat, taking in super yachts in the harbour and celebrity homes on Star Island. For lunch they enjoy a mountainous meal of the local stone crab at Joes, a legendary Miami restaurant, before heading off to tour Wynwood, the city’s art district.
