DB Russell heads to New York to help Mac search for his kidnapped girlfriend Christine, and James Boyd arranges to meet up with the gang to drop off the diamonds and release the hostages. With the CSI team monitoring his every movement, Boyd starts to ask too many questions and the captors begin to suspect he has involved the police.
