As a class project, the mouselings are asked to report on their heroes. Alice expresses her fascination with her hero, Anna Mousikova, the famous Russian gymnast. Alice adopts Anna Mousikova’s culture and rigorous practicing schedule to emulate her famous hero. Through her endeavor of becoming more like Anna Mousikova, Alice loses a lot of herself in what she’s doing; hence, she is no longer having fun. In the end, she realizes that she can appreciate Anna Mousikova and still knows she is special just being herself!
