Celebrity chef and food writer Rachel Allen goes on a culinary trip to the Southern and Western coasts of Ireland. The series follows Rachel as she sources ingredients from the land, foraging and making the most of local produce. Against unpredictable Irish weather, the chef cooks outside en route without the aid of her usual kitchen amenities. In each episode she learns about the culture and social history of the communities she visits, and she combines traditional and contemporary methods to create unique recipes inspired by her journey.
