Their first stop is a visit with Janine, an environmentalist who shows the travellers how she has rehabilitate injured or abandoned wildlife. Shocked Neil explains to a bewildered team that somehow his vehicle wandered off the Panamanian Highway and destroyed two wheels and got two flat tires.
