Directed by Marco Bellocchio, Blood of My Blood tells the story of two haunting Italian accounts from different centuries in the convent prison of Bobbio, caught somewhere between past and present: a young 17th century priest falls under the spell of a bewitching nun and a modern-day tax investigator tries to push a mysterious old man out of hiding. The movie screened in the main competition section of the 72nd Venice International Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Golden Lion, and in the Masters section of the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival.
