U vili Crnković inspektori Zvonimir Bilić, Ivana Peršić i Andrija Taras pronalaze mrtva tijela Trpimira Ružića i njegove zaručnice, Valentine Crnković, dok je kućna pomoćnica teško ozlijeđena. Prvi dokazi ne upućuju na provalu i pljačku. Inspektori ubrzo saznaju da je u trenutku ubojstva u kući bila kći pokojne Valentine, Tara, bivša ovisnica. Započinje potraga za Tarom jer je mogla čuti i vidjeti što se zapravo dogodilo u vili Crnković, ali i zato što je, uz svog dečka, kriminalca i lopova, jedna od glavnih osumnjičenih.
