Toni is a little girl who has no father, and her mother leaves her on the street, having fun with her next guest. Tony seeks salvation in the studio of the artist Philip. But Philip has his own life and problems. Parents of neighborhood children are afraid that Tony is a bad influence on their descendants. They want to send Tony to boarding school.
