Malloy and Reed have a difficult night ahead of them when they get stuck with an old patrol car that it is riddled with problems. On patrol, they deal with a female car thief, chase down a prowler with a sympathetic story, pull over a motorist who points out an ironic detail, investigate suspicious activity at a warehouse and pursue an armed robbery suspect.
