Gibbs is called to a frozen lake, where two children have discovered the body of a missing marine. The team searches the water for clues and finds three more bullet-ridden corpses, all of which have tattoos linking them to a notorious street gang. The case then becomes a race against time to discover what connects the murders before the serviceman's comrades seek revenge.
