The Intelligence Unit responds when a shooting involving four masked gunmen is reported as being in progress at a downtown health club. When the team arrives, only one of the armed men remains, forcing Atwater and Roman to pursue the others across the city in a chase that culminates in a tense hostage situation. Meanwhile investigations back at the scene of the crime reveal the victims at the club were all lawyers who worked on a case involving Lancaster Chemicals, and when evidence links the shootings to the murder of a businessman two days earlier, it becomes clear the shooters have some kind of vigilante agenda.
