The team races to stop a CIA plan to assassinate the Venezuelan president in Britain in the hope of gaining intelligence about an expected al-Qaeda attack on a school. Having identified the group of mercenaries that kidnapped Zaf, Jo too is snatched by them. Adam's attempts to gain her freedom result in a high-level conspiracy being exposed - and more tragedy for the Section D officers.
