In the last of the heats, four new cooks try to win a semi-final place by impressing judges John Torode and Donal Skehan with a selection of dishes they must make from scratch. Their first test is to create their ultimate soup and soda bread, before making their favourite main courses - including diet coke chicken and gorgonzola figs.
