SINOPSIS
Young Caroline Ruthyn is sent to live with her Uncle Silas following the death of her father. Silas was acquitted of a murder earlier in life, a crime of which her father believed him innocent. Silas seems a kindly old chap at first, but with the help of his housekeeper and sinister son, he soon begins to plot Caroline's death in order to gain her inheritance.
