SINOPSIS

Carol tries to help struggling single mum Barbara while dealing with the news that a woman claiming to be her own mother has arrived in Aidensfield. The nurse is then taken aback when Janet has the idea of reuniting them. Meanwhile, Mason's fears for Barbara are proved right after a shocking turn of events, and Wetherby and Younger enlist Peggy to search for the chief constable's missing dog.
