SINOPSIS

Emotional tale about an unorthodox 1930s Scottish schoolteacher whose influence on the girls in her charge brings her into conflict with the headmistress of the private school where she works. Although the eccentric spinster inspires her pupils in matters of art and music, her radical political views and tangled personal life cause serious consternation.
