SINOPSIS

The documentary series following artists in their daily routines shifts its focus to self-taught painter Jack Vettriano, whose work harks back to a lost age of glamour. The programme explores Vettriano's nostalgic pieces, which include The Singing Butler - the country's best-selling image - and observes how the much-maligned artist deals with criticism as he creates a new painting featuring actress Kara Tointon.
