Lena Lorenz works as midwife in a hospital in Berlin: today was a very hard day,the stress is very strong and she is exhausted.So she decides to travel to her home village, Himmelsruh in the Bavarian Alps.There she will encounter her mother , Eva Mattes who is not very happy to see again her daughter,her grandfather Lero Lorenz is always grumpy and her friend Julia doesn't show many enthusiasm to see her.Soon there is an emergency, a 17 years old pregnant girl will give birth and Lena will assist her in the restaurant of Himmelsruh.Some hours later the young mother abandons the child and disappears in the mountains.
