SYNOPSIS

In this programme, Martin MacDonald visits Vatersay, where a number of islanders return home after spending time on the mainland, and there are concerns with Mull regarding the survival of the Gaelic language. Also, Norman MacDonald reports from Colonsay on the problems facing its inhabitants and there is a report from Wales on how local communities deal with the growing problem of holiday homes.
