SYNOPSIS

Ruth's worst fears are proved when she discovers she is pregnant. Sarah offers advice: trying to make it as a female surgeon leaves no room for error. Torn between her ambition and her feelings, Ruth has a decision to make - should she take an abortion pill? Elsewhere, Jordan's condition continues to improve, and Frances feels he'll be able to return to work, but only in an administrative capacity.
