Rizzoli & Isles: Sister Sister

SYNOPSIS

Old Mona Evans drifts in her home pool, apparently attacked by the Rottweiler she lovingly prepared for dog shows, but in fact was fatally poisoned with strychnine, found in the dog's dinner she consumed as he smelled the danger. The nasty neighbor Dolores frequently complained about the dog, denies any action as she's about to move and hints at rare family visits and a noisy row. Korsak prevents the dog being hastily put down by animal control, finding him harmless and friendly, so preps Jane to walk him at a dog show in case a jealous competitor -eternal seconds are questioned- attempts again killing him, which yields a confession from Mona's junk daughter Sara, but Maura finds she used a negligible dose of regular rat poison, while Mona died from less of the other, stronger kind. Mona's 'good' daughter was the only one aware the ancestral home, which Mona refused to sell, could fetch triple its value for a new hospital wing project. Maura has her own way to handle Kent's stolen kiss and reluctance to inform a victim's family.
