SYNOPSIS

Flight: TAM Airlines Flight 402; Fokker 100; October 31st, 1996. Just seconds after lifting off from Congonhas airport in Sao Paulo, Brazil, TAM Airlines flight 402 slams into a residential neighborhood and bursts into flames killing all 95 people on board. Investigators from the Brazilian Air Force join forces with the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board to uncover a series of events that led to a failure so rare, it seemed impossible.
