SYNOPSIS

The group enjoy the final week of their experiment in Jaipur and attend one of the highlights of the Hindu calendar, the Ganesh Chaturti festival, a riot of colour and noise, packed with people, floats and elephants. They also make a trip to Varanasi, one of the holiest cities in India, where Hindus come to be purified by the waters of the Ganges and to cremate their dead in the hope they have the best chance of reaching Nirvana. Back in Jaipur, Bobby and Jan go in search for property, with Bobby keen to find somewhere to buy and Jan falling in love with the idea of renting an apartment in a haveli amongst a local family.
