War and Peace

SYNOPSIS

The nation prepares for a decisive battle as Napoleon's forces invade Russia. As the French army marches eastwards, Marya realises that her family are in terrible danger, but her father refuses to listen to her grave warnings. Natasha falls ill, and Pierre takes it upon himself to looks after her - only to make a decision that opens his eyes to the horrors of war. Andrei struggles to forgive Natasha, and swears to have revenge on his rival. Helene struggles to remain in control of a compromising situation.
