SYNOPSIS

The crash of the Berlin-to-Zurich Crossair Flight 3597 in November 2001. Minutes before landing, the pilots lost control of the aircraft, which eventually hit a hillside.
Making a routine journey from Berlin, Crossair Flight #3597 is on its final approach to Zurich. It is one of the last planes scheduled to land. But just minutes before landing the pilots cannot find the runway. They decide to abort the maneuver and apply full power to all four engines in order to get their jet to climb. But they are too late. The aircraft clips the treetops below and crashes into a hillside. Investigators comb through the wreckage, and the data from the plane's black boxes. But they would only solve the riddle of Crossair Flight 3597 by digging into the past.
