SYNOPSIS

Alex Debogorski sets out to deliver toxic chemicals to the Cantung tungsten mine in the Northwest Territories, while Jack Jessee's return to the fray is hampered by a shifting load. Ronald `Porkchop' Mangum gets his chance to drive solo on the Dalton Highway, while Austin Wheeler is continuing his slow journey north as part of a convoy moving a modular building. With Rick Yemm still laid up, Hugh Rowland has to bring in some rookies to help him get three trailers of cement across Lake Winnipeg.
