SYNOPSIS

Major Clanger invents a knitting machine, thinking this will save Granny ever having to make the effort to knit again. However, Granny likes knitting and when she sees the hideous garments the machine produces she challenges it to a great knit-off to determine who is the best knitter. Narrated by Michael Palin.
