SYNOPSIS

A housewife found choked to death in her own home marks the third strangulation in a month, setting Oxford police on edge. As a manhunt begins in search of a murderer targeting married women, Endeavour looks into the origin of the silk stocking used to kill the latest victim, tracing the garment to its sole supplier in the city. However, as the suspect list narrows and the culprit stalks his prey with increasing desperation, Morse and Thursday find their private lives turned upside down and miss a deeper tragedy unfolding.
