SYNOPSIS

Tess Dunlop reveals how a small French fishing village gave rise to the birth of British commercial radio in the 1930s, Brendan Walker investigates why the 1970 collapse of Pembrokeshire's Cleddau Bridge changed the engineering world for ever, Dick Strawbridge is in Portsmouth, where he tells of a novel First World War plan to disguise British ships by hiding them in plain sight.
