SYNOPSIS

Manastir Krupa nalazi se u zadarskom zaleđu podno Velebita, blizu izvora istoimene rijeke. Datira iz 1317. godine i najstariji je od pet takvih zdanja u Hrvatskoj. Sagrađen je u vrijeme kralja Milutina, a pretpostavlja se da su mu temelje postavili monasi iz manastira Krupe na Vrbasu. Manastir je u svojoj dugoj povijesti bio žrtva mnogih osvajačkih napada, no unatoč čestim pustošenjima u prošlosti čuva vrijedna duhovna i kulturna svjedočanstva.
