SYNOPSIS

Fiona Bruce and the team visit Tredegar House near Newport in Wales, where members of the public bring along treasured antiques and collectibles. Items of interest include a tapestry woven in tribute to Status Quo, a carved coconut steeped in 18th-century maritime history and a frog-shaped brooch. A former Mastermind champion shows off the glass vase he won, and a Second World War veteran tells the story of a daring mission to inspect German defences before the D-Day landings - and how he came to have a packet of cigarettes from Field Marshal Rommel.
