SYNOPSIS

Boyd learns he is being removed from the Cold Case unit. For his final job, he re-opens an investigation into the disappearance of 16 homeless teenagers between 1979 and 1982 - the first case he ever worked on. However, as the team struggles to find any new information, Grace worries about her colleague's reasons for revisiting his past - while a guilt-ridden Sarah becomes desperate to make amends for her role in Boyd's sacking. First part of the crime drama's two-part final story, starring Trevor Eve, with Paul McGann.
