SYNOPSIS

This autumn Angela Merkel bows out after 16 years as German Chancellor. In that time she has been a key player on the world stage, and has also changed her own country. Jenny Hill travels across Germany, from school proms in Berlin to forests in the Harz Mountains, to discover how Angela Merkel has shaped it.
