SYNOPSIS

Duga operna noć "vrti" se oko cjelovite snimke opere "Hoffmannove priče" Jacquesa Offenbacha zabilježene prošloga ljeta u austrijskome gradiću Klosterneuburgu. Demonska priča o pijanom pjesniku i njegovim ljubavima u stvari je metafora umjetničkog stvaranja, sasvim smjelo i do danas nerazjašnjeno ostvarenje koje je na žalost u proteklih nekoliko desetljeća sasvim iščeznulo iz opernog repertoara u Hrvatskoj. Zato je tu Art a la carte i naša jednomjesečna operna emisija koja u uvodnom dijelu u studiju ugošćuje dvoje hrvatskih stručnjaka za tu operu: jedini hrvatski redatelj koji je režirao taj naslov, Krešimir Dolenčić, i sopranistica Ivana Lazar, koja je spremna u nekoj mogućoj budućoj predstavi svoje matične kuće (HNK Zagreb) povezati sve sopranske uloge u operi, emanacije triju Hoffmanovih ljubavi - lutku Olympiju, glazbenicu Antoniju i kurtizanu Giuliettu. Njih u ovoj sezoni Zagrebačke opere povezuje i suradnja na predstavama Seviljski brijač i Čarobna frula, koje su također teme našeg razgovora.
