SYNOPSIS

It's the approach to Christmas in New York City. Olivia Bennett and Edward Taylor, a former ballerina turned dance teacher and a small business consultant respectively, have long taken themselves out of the dating market, Olivia who has not felt ready to date since the passing of her husband Nathan eight years ago - her adolescent daughter, Maeryn, who doesn't remember her father - and Edward who is always traveling for work, he considering himself technically homeless and thus not in a position to devote himself to any one person in any one place, his attempts to do so in the past always having resulted in failure.
