SYNOPSIS

July 1958. Like each summer, Frédérique, aged 13, and Sophie, aged 8, head for La Baule with their governess for the summer holidays. Some time later, Léna, their mother, joins them. She also sees Jean-Claude, her lover. The unexpected arrival of Michel, her husband, will accelerate their inevitable break-up.
