SYNOPSIS

The atmospheric portrayal of Restoration London focusing on a cockney dance hall girl who caught the eye of Charles II and became his favourite mistress. The uncultured Nell Gwyn dismayed many of the more refined people at court, but she captured the King's heart and remained his favourite until his death.
