SYNOPSIS

This fast-paced action film starring Chow Yun-Fat is one of the highest grossing domestic movies in Chinese film history. Set during the violent 1920s, notorious bandit chief Zhang descends upon a remote provincial town posing as its new mayor. He stole the identity from another con artist, and soon finds himself in a deadly battle of wits and brutality. Directed by and stars Jiang Wen, and also stars Ge You.
