SYNOPSIS

Simon Bolivar Oslobodilac je jedna od najznačajnijih ličnosti u istoriji Latinske Amerike i celog sveta. Mnogo filmova je snimljeno i knjiga napisano o njemu, a čak je i Ivo Andrić iza sebe ostavio jedan esej o Bolivaru.
Ovaj film govori o jednom od najtežih perioda u njegovom životu, kada se sticajem okolnosti, nakon prvog talasa oslobađanja kolonizovanog Novog sveta, 1815. godine našao u izgnanstvu na Jamajci bez novca. Na ivici egzistencije, ali i nerava, Oslobodilac se preko Jamajke, Haitija i ostrva San Tomas vraća u rodnu Venecuelu da se iznova suprotstavi vojsci španskog kralja.
