SYNOPSIS

Radnja televizijskog filma "Pet hiljada metara sa preponama "dešava se 1952. godine u jednom planinskom selu u Srbiji.
Demobilisani major Dobrilo se vraća iz grada u rodno selo. Pod uticajem tek završene Olimpijade u Helsinkiju, Dobrilo osniva atletičarski klub i priprema seoske mladiće za takmičenje u trčanju maratona. Ali neki stari, neraščišćeni računi iz ratnih dana prekinuće odjednom sve lepo što je počelo da se događa od Dobrilovog dolaska u selo.
