SYNOPSIS
The film follows the lives of four teenagers, children of immigrant families from the former Yugoslavia, who live in an infamous suburb of Ljubljana, Fužine. Hanging out in front of block of their flats, they share their frustrations.
CHEFURS RAUS! follows the lives of teenagers Marco, Adi, Aco and Dejan. Children of immigrant families from the former Yugoslavia, they live in a block of flats in an infamous suburb of Ljubljana, Fužine. Hanging out in front of their flats, they share their frustrations with each other. Marko has quit playing basketball; Adi is upset by his brother’s drug addiction; Aco feels he is being given a hard time by everyone in his life; Dejan is anxious about his mother's wish to move away, as he doesn't want to leave his friends and everything he knows in Fužine. One night they are stopped by the police, and their worlds change dramatically. Featuring excellent performances from its young ensemble cast, CHEFURS RAUS! is a moving portrait of the complexities of identity and adjusting to new circumstances.
