Niskobudžetni triler "Plava pustinja" danas je najzanimljiviji po nastupu onda malo poznate, a danas vrlo slavne Courtney Cox, zvijezde popularne TV serije Prijatelji te satirične horor tirlogije Wesa Cravena "Vrisak".
